Inviting Reflections on the Qur’an: A Warning for the Adherents from Allah (11)

Allah says in the Qur'an:.

O (the people) who believe! You must protect yourselves and the members of your family from a fire, whose fuel is people and stones. Over it (the standing guards) are angels, fierce and powerful. They never disobey Allah in anything. He commands them, and they carry out whatever they are commanded. Surah 66: Verse 6.

It has been made mandatory by All Mighty Allah for a family head or a guardian to raise his/her children in a way that they make them law abiding and caring members of a society; and, having understanding of the Islamic principles of life in order to be saved from chastisement of hell in the here-after. (Whoever is kept away from the fire (hell) and admitted into the paradise, has finally, succeeded). Surah 3; Verse 185.

It is reported in Al-Mustadrak by Al-Hakim and in Musnad by Ahmad bin Hunbal (Hadith # 16118) that Muhammad PBUH said: "ما نحل والد ولده احسن من ادب حسن" that the best gift a father/guardian can give to his children is their best education. The best education of a child is to raise him/her with good values.
