Holy Qur’an invites Meditation and Reflection from the Adherents

Allah says:" أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ ۚ وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ غَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ لَوَجَدُوا۟ فِيهِ ٱخْتِلَٰفًا كَثِيرًا” (Do they not consider the Qur’an (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy and contradiction.) Surah 4: Verse 82.
Some surprising facts about the Revealed Book: Al-Qur’an al-Karim:
  • In 6236 verses of the Qur’an, no two verses are in conflict with each other.
  • No information imparted by the Qur’an, contrary to other adulterated revealed books, has been invalidated by the advanced human knowledge.
  • Holy Qur’an stands as the first and most reliable source of human history.

Prof. Bell of Edinburgh and Prof. Torrey of Yale propounded: “Principle of Higher Criticism” in order to find out contradictions in various contexts of the Qur’an. They utterly failed and could not bring even a single example which is not in agreement with other verses; or, not in line with established historical facts; or, not in line with the natural laws.

Human speech and conduct always tends to change with the changes in environment and conditions of life. Since Holy Qur’an is the Kalam (Word) of the Lord, therefore, He has kept His kalam free from contradictions and discrepancies.
